STRENGTHS & SKILLS:

Cliff picked up bug-fighting as a hobby to get closer to one of her friends’ cute siblings but ended up staying for the beetles and ignoring her original target. Her favorite are the Hercules Beetles, she had just started breeding them a couple months before she arrived in Transyre.

Clifford easily remembers small things about other people like what direction they part their hair or whether they prefer cheddar cheese to swiss cheese but she mixes up peoples birthdays and more important things like phobias. It hasn't been of any actual use yet but I suppose it's a skill of some sort.

Running: Being as she was the most competitive person on her soccer team almost all of her free time was spent running place to place. She built up her stamina over the years and can run quickly over long distances with little trouble.

Spatially aware: After she got serious about soccer she ran where ever and when ever she could, and after many collisions with pedestrians turning corners and a few close calls with vehicles blowing stop signs she's developed a knack for weaving between moving objects while watching out for safety hazards.

Kicking: She has fairly poor aim when it comes to shooting a goal but the sheer strength of her kick could send a ball nearly 75 yards down the field, if she can keep from hitting it towards the sidelines.

She's low key aggressive towards whoever is convenient when she is in situations she's unsure about so she can be hard to be around. Because of her volatile personality she requires some some TLC to keep functioning.

Cliff always gives 100% towards things she knows are important, she’ll openly boast about her efforts if theres anyone around that will listen but she’s just as happy doing things that need to be done even if noone is there to acknowledge her.

Despite her argumentative attitude she’s perfectly happy following directions when they are beneficial to the majority or from someone she sees as being better than herself. She works best when she knows exactly where she fits into a group.

It’s important to cliff that even if she isn’t the most popular she’s seen as a trustworthy person, so as long as it won’t cause any physical harm to another person she’ll always keep things said in confidence a secret. She’s never had the best sense of morals either so it’s not particularly hard to convince her to lie on someone else’s behalf.

Clifford is always happy to have more friends and can normally get along with anyone who doesn’t mind dealing with her occasional offhanded comments. She enjoys taking care of her friends and shows her appreciation by doing her best to make things easier for them however she can. Once she develops a friendship with a person she won’t deliberately say anything rude about them even if she’s in a nasty mood but she sometimes says things without realizing it’s hurtful so some understanding and patience is needed to maintain a relationship with her.

Cliff can be a debby downer when things go wrong or when she’s around other pessimistic people. Though she is upbeat when messing around with her friends if she’s left to her own devices for too long her mood will start to deteriorate and she’ll become sluggish. She gets along best with optimistic people who can help keep her mood stabilized.

She is hesitant to put herself in a position of leadership because she isn't confident about her ability to perform consistently. Most of the venomous comments she makes are because of some underlying insecurity she isn't able to deal with. She usually struts around and acts like she’s the best when she feels that she isn’t getting the hang of something quick enough or if she has made a mistake in some other aspect. 

HISTORY:

TL;DR

Cliff grew up in a lowerclass family and worked extremely hard towards getting a sports scholarship. Unfortunately she had to repeat two years in elementary school which put her behind her teammates and after her 19th birthday she was unable to participate in school sports and unable to attain the scholarship she had been working so hard for. So she decided to go sulk in the creepy forest all of her (former) teammates are afraid of.
